In 2023 I spent March and April in Sicily photographing with an 8x10 camera. I lived in a working class neighborhood of the small town where my great-grandmother was raised. On the last day of my trip I sent all of the film, 100 sheets, to my processing lab but authorities purposefully exposed my film to light, ruining all of it. My only surviving photos are these few cellphone snaps.
